With all wealth of the collection of the Orsay Museum it can be described in one word "impressionism". Van Gogh and Mone, Degas and Renoir: it is difficult to name an impressionist artist whose works are absent from the museum. There are also masterpieces of impressionist predecessors, Rodin's sculptures, and the museum building itself, once a railway station, is a full-fledged aesthetic object. Even a short excursion to Orsay with an English-speaking guide guarantees a lot of impressions, and in order not to overshadow them by standing in the queue at the ticket office, buy e-tickets via Excurzilla in advance.
