Excursions to Montmartre with personal guide

The fiefdom of Bohemia, the most romantic district of Paris, haunt for writers and poets - no matter how you describe Montmartre you will still not be able to convey its atmosphere. You need to feel it personally during an excursion with private English-speaking guide to the most interesting places in this quarter that has become one of the symbols of Paris. Renoir, Modigliani and dozens of other famous artists worked here, historical figures and the fictional heroine of the film "Amelie" lived here. It's perfect to come here with a full-day excursion, but even if you don't have much time, you should definitely see:

  • the Place du Tertre: as in the days of Picasso and Van Gogh artists sell their paintings there;
  • the Basilica of the Scared Heart of Paris towering at the top of Montmartre: you will see not only an architectural monument, but also a panorama of Paris;
  • the legendary cabaret "Moulin Rouge";
  • "Moulin de la Galette" that is a mill built in the 14th century and immortalised in hundreds of paintings;
  • the Wall of love - the newest landmark of Montmartre built in 2000;
  • Cafe des Deux Moulins that where Amelie Poulain worked.
