Sharjah is the third largest city in the UAE. Tourists are attracted here by a large number of attractions for every taste, cozy streets with traditional Arabic architecture, well-wooded parks, and reasonable prices for recreation.

The Al Majaz Waterfront is situated on the bank of the Khalid Lagoon. There is a park with the famous musical fountain nearby.

There is the Faisal Mosque in the centre of Sharjah, near the main market. The building can hold up to 3000 worshippers at the same time. Non-Muslims are free to visit the Al Noor Mosque. The Sharjah aquarium is situated on the bank of the gulf. The collection contains more than 250 species of ocean inhabitants. A tour to the Classic Car Museum, the Museum of Islamic Civilization, and the Heritage Museum will also be interesting.
