The Orkney Islands are interesting for their history. They belonged to Norway for a long time. To the west is a village that is about 5,000 years old. You can also see the Standing Stones there. These are ancient stone blocks arranged in a circle. On the same islands there is a tomb built in 3000 BC.

The Hebrides are an archipelago made up of dozens of islands of various sizes. You will appreciate their unsurpassed beauty.

You will certainly be interested in the smallest island of the archipelago - Staffa. It has a unique geological formation - basalt columns.

Scotland is famous for its lamb and beef dishes, as well as fish, crustaceans and shellfish. "Haggis" - a traditional dish of Scottish cuisine, which is a beef tripe stuffed with offal and oatmeal. Also try another famous Scottish dish - Cullen Soup.
